In MacOS Sierra the installer of FileZilla installer ends in an error: Error – Could not initialize the installer.

The work around is to install FileZilla manually by using the tar file from the additional download page. Download FileZilla Client

The error applies to FileZilla Client version: 3.22.2.2 and 3.23.0
